At JD’s Auto Repair, we understand that our customers want the best auto shop available, so we work hard to provide them with a full line of affordable and quality services. We love classic cars just as much as you and we’ve got a short list of the most expensive ones ever.

The 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spider sold for $18.5 million. This black Spider was once owned by Gerard Blain as well as Alain Delon. It was also owned by Jane Fonda at one point. This Spider was rediscovered after a long period of curiosity over its whereabouts.

Another pricey vintage car is the 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Special. This car actually sold for a whopping $26.4 million. This is a duotone, gray vehicle with 320-horsepower and a hand-built transaxle gearbox. If you love classic cars that turn heads, then this one is worth checking out.

Yet another expensive vintage car is the 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 S NART Spider. This gorgeous car sold for $27.7 million. It has a wishbone independent suspension and was initially a charitable gift. This Spider was restored and now has a cam-engine. Cars like this are one of a kind, so give it a look if you can.

The 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196 Silver Arrow is another classic car that sold for a high price. This car was marked at $29.6 million and has a desmodromic valve actuation. Its motor was calibrated by fuel injection. Mercedes-Benz still has ownership of six cars identical to this one. Several others are on display in museums.
